August 14-19, 2023

TGU School District will be hosting teacher/staff in-service day on Monday August 14, 2023. Teachers and staff will engage in professional development together to start the 2023-2024 school year! All TGU staff will start the day together at the TGU Towner site until lunch. TGU staff will join their respective school sites for an afternoon session of professional development specific to their school site.
Remember to join the TGU staff at our Open House Monday August 14, 2023 from 5:30-7pm.

Attention Grades 7-8 Football players and parents!!! The JH football players are encouraged to come to watch the TGU Varsity football practice Monday, August 7, at 7:00 PM. Practice is held in Towner, we will be on the baseball field area. At this time JH kids will have a chance to walk around and watch our coaches coach, and players practice, to get a sense of what it is like. They will also be given a folder packet with some information, and also check out their gear. The first practice for JH will be Thursday, 8/10, at 7:00 AM. There will be a bus from TGU Granville leaving at 6:20 PM tomorrow night.
Welcome 2023-2024 School Year!
TGU School District will be having Open House on Monday August 14, 2023 from 5:30-7pm at both TGU Granville and TGU Towner sites. Please stop by and meet your child's teachers, along with the other TGU staff! The TGU staff are eager to see all of your smiling faces this year! There will be a light supper at each school for the TGU families.

Volleyball meeting for players grades 7-12 on August 7th at 7:00 pm in Towner Gym. Open gym to follow. Transportation will be provided from Granville bus leaves at 6:20 pm. Practice will begin August 14th.
Attention Elementary Boy's Basketball Parents- Elementary boy's basketball will be starting practice August 17, 2023 at 3:15 pm. Please make sure your child has a sports physical turned into the school office prior to practice. Your child will NOT be allowed to practice without a sports physical. More details to come soon!

TGU Granville FFA had a wonderful week at the 2023 North Dakota State Fair! These kids worked so hard and it really showed! We had many Grand and Reserve Champions from livestock to static exhibits as well as many blue, red and white ribbons!

Attention TGU Football players/parents: Your coaches are anxiously awaiting the start of a new and exciting football season. Varsity (grades 9-12) will start practice on August 3rd, at 7:00 AM. Junior High (grades 7-8) will start practice on August 10th, at 7:00 AM. Attached is the preseason schedule. Athletes- Please have your physical forms signed by the first day of practice. If this isn't taken care of, you won't be allowed to practice. We will not have a large group meeting, but we will send home information with the athletes the first day of practice.
