TGU Drama competed in the Region 8 One-Act competition today, performing the play "Math" by Don Zolidis. The hard work paid off when two of our actors received awards for Honorary Actor for Kale Deatherage and Superior Actor for Ava Sveet!

TGU Granville congratulates our 1st Quarter High Honor and Honor Roll students! We celebrated their accomplishments during a 7–12 recognition event and challenged all students to strive for Honor Roll recognition next quarter. Stay tuned for our grades 7-12 "Students of the 1st Quarter" results!


Congratulations to Kaylee Millar, TGU Granville senior, for obtaining her Paraprofessional License through the ND Dept. of Public Instruction while achieving High Honors and serving as Honor Society President, Student Council President, and in the ASPIRE program. ✨ Future educator alert!

🏆🙌𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬!! Both TGU Varsity Football and Varsity Volleyball teams earned the 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 sponsored by the NDHSAA for their recently completed seasons. We are so proud of our student athletes! Keep up the great work in and out of the classroom! 🙌🏆

We celebrated in true 50s style today with root beer floats and a fun sock hop! The kids had a blast dancing the afternoon away, and our teachers joined in on the fun. 🕺🍦💃
A huge shoutout to our amazing staff — we’re so lucky to have such dedicated and spirited educators who make every day special for our students! ❤️


🎉Happy 50th Day of School from the 3rd grade at TGU Towner! Dressing up, along with having root beer floats and a sock hop at the end of the day, was a great way to celebrate 50 days of learning together!🎉









During the TGU-Towner Scholastic Book Fair, the Honor Society will also be taking items to be donated to the Magic City Hoagies Food Drive. Magic City Hoagies, located in Minot ND, will be offering free sandwiches to families in need and accepting donations for canned goods, non-perishables, seasonings, diapers, and formula. If you are able, please drop off items when you visit the Book Fair!

This event is OPEN to the public, and we encourage patrons to watch TGU compete at 1:50 pm in Aleshire Theater at MSU. **Please enter the theater when the doors are open, or once the play prior to TGU has ended**
Thursday, Nov 6th, at 5:30 pm, we will present our competition piece to the community. NOTE: This is a change in time and date from the community activity schedule posted earlier. Please plan accordingly. Free will donation!

Happy Halloween from Towner 1st grade! The kids had such a blast dressing up in their costumes! We also listened to Spookley the Square Pumpkin the book, and watched the movie. We compared the two, then made our very own Spookley pumpkins as a very yummy treat!!! 🎃

TGUTowner is hosting a book drive for Sanford Children's Hospital during the book fair in the library. We are looking for new books for ages 0-18. If you would like to donate, there is a tote in the library. Thank you!
