Per NDCC 15.1-09-09 notice is hereby given that the annual school district election of the TGU School District No. 60 will be held on June 10, 2025, at the polling location(s) listed below.
The polls will be open from 10:00 am and will continue to be open until 7:00 pm of that day.
The following official(s) will be elected:
1. School Board Member for the TGU School District No. 60, from the designated geographical area of the former Newport (Towner) School District. 3-year term.
2. School Board Member for the TGU School District No. 60, from the designated geographical area of the former Granville School District. 3-year term.
The polling locations are as follows:

Voters are required to show identification that includes the individual’s residential address and date of birth per North Dakota Century Code 16.1-5-07. Valid forms of ID are ND driver’s license, ND non-driver’s license, Tribal government issued ID, or Long-term care certificate. If a voter does not have a valid ID with current address, additional documentation is required. For more information, please contact the TGU Business Manager or visit the Secretary of State website.
Anyone desiring to vote by absent voter’s ballot may obtain an application from the school office or from the Secretary of State website prior to June 9, 2025. Completed application must be returned to the district office in Towner, ND to receive an absentee ballot. Absentee ballots cannot be issued on the day of the election.

Tomorrow, Thursday, May 15 is the LAST day of school! TGU schools are dismissed at 1:00pm and buses will run at that time. There will be no after school program at either site. Have a wonderful, safe summer! Go, Titans!


Rugby Panther Softball Team played their last regular season game last night in Glenburn. The team heads to Minot on Thursday for playoff. They will take on Divide County their first game! Good luck to all the TGU Towner Titan girls and the Rugby Panther Softball team!


TGU Towner 3rd & 4th grade traveled to Washburn and toured Fort Mandan and the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center. We're so lucky to be able to see in-person so many of the things we've learned about in our North Dakota Study history books throughout the school year!
