TGU Drama and the 21st Century Summer Program are excited to announce the upcoming summer camp for Missoula Children's Theater's "The Jungle Book," running for the week of June 9th-13th, with two performances on June 13th at 3:00 pm and 5:30 pm! This program was sponsored by the North Dakota Council for the Arts and the Towner Community Club!
A big congratulations to Coach Billy Seright and the boys' Varsity basketball team for earning the NDHSAA Team Scholar Award! The team achieved an impressive overall grade point average of 3.2 or higher—proving that excellence happens on and off the court. Go, Titans!
TGU Towner 21st Century Update: Tuesday, June 3rd marks the first day of Towner’s 21st Century Summer Program! Doors open at 9:30 AM! Please drop your child off at the after school program door, on the east side of the school. Students who plan on attending summer program for the month of June will receive a detailed weekly schedule the first week of the program. Per NDCC 15.1-09-09 notice is hereby given that the annual school district election of the TGU School District No. 60 will be held on June 10, 2025, at the polling location(s) listed below.
The polls will be open from 10:00 am and will continue to be open until 7:00 pm of that day.
The following official(s) will be elected:
1. School Board Member for the TGU School District No. 60, from the designated geographical area of the former Newport (Towner) School District. 3-year term.
2. School Board Member for the TGU School District No. 60, from the designated geographical area of the former Granville School District. 3-year term.
The polling locations are as follows:
TGU Towner School, 302 2nd ST SE, Towner, ND, 58788
TGU Granville School, 210 6th ST SW, Granville, ND, 58741
Upham American Legion Hall, 11 C AVE N, Upham, ND, 58789
Voters are required to show identification that includes the individual’s residential address and date of birth per North Dakota Century Code 16.1-5-07. Valid forms of ID are ND driver’s license, ND non-driver’s license, Tribal government issued ID, or Long-term care certificate. If a voter does not have a valid ID with current address, additional documentation is required. For more information, please contact the TGU Business Manager or visit the Secretary of State website.
Anyone desiring to vote by absent voter’s ballot may obtain an application from the school office or from the Secretary of State website prior to June 9, 2025. Completed application must be returned to the district office in Towner, ND to receive an absentee ballot. Absentee ballots cannot be issued on the day of the election.

And more last minute fun at TGU Granville to celebrate the 2024-2025 school year...from the Class of 2025 opening their Time Capsules from when they were in Mrs. Tonnessen's class to the grades 7-12 softball tournament and games at the park to many creative Senior Pranks (wow, they outdid themselves), we had a blast!
