🏃♀️🏃♂️TGU Granville Cross Country athletes were honored at Surrey’s recent Athletic Banquet. Coaches Walhaug & Robinson presented "Victory Shoe" medals to each XC athlete with the number of runners they beat over the season. Kale Deatherage achieved 326 Victory Shoes, Ava Sveet with 615, Addyson Hanson with 616, and Ethan Sveet with 981 Victory Shoes! In addition to these medals, each athlete received a personalized video of photos from their races through all the years running for Coach Walhaug, who retired this year. Three other awards were presented to TGU Granville athletes: Addyson & Ava shared Rookie of the Year and Ethan received Most Improved (for the greatest number of PRs in the XC season). Over the course of practices and races, each runner completed more than 300miles. Great work, Titans! 🏃♀️🏃♂️

This week's Random Act of Kindness winners are Skylar, Brooke, Lillian, Gracyn, Hayes, Emree, Allison, Anders, and Tristen. When students are spotted doing a kind act a staff member fills out a slip and puts it in the jar. At the end of the week, a couple of slips are drawn from the jar and they get the opportunity to pick a prize. Thank you to all the farmers, ranchers, businesses, and community members for donating prizes for the RAK program!
