FALL SPORTS INFORMATION: *All athletes must have an annual sports physical (physicals after April 15 are still good). Parent must sign the physical form before it's turned in. This must be completed before starting practice.

*Elementary boys' and girls' basketball seasons are switching this year. The girls' season will now be held in the fall and the boys' season will be held in the spring. Grades 4-6 for both teams. Both the girls and boys will have combined teams this year. This will be the third year the girls have done so while it will be the first year in doing so for the boys.

The TGU Towner Gym is currently closed for maintenance until further notice. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.

The TGU School District Offices in Towner will be closed from Thursday, July 17 through Tuesday, July 22, 2025, for scheduled cleaning and maintenance.

Congratulations to all the TGU Towner Trapshooters that participated in the ND State High School Clay Target League State Shoot in Horace. They walked away with several team awards and several individual awards. ☀️21st Century Program Summer Update ☀️ Our Towner Summer School Program attended the Hot Tot’s Education Day! Our kids were chosen for several different jobs at the game. Allen Jones was the bat boy, Anders Rice made the “ let’s play ball” announcement at the beginning of the game, and Sylvie Christianson was the “hardest working fan”. The kids had so much fun!

Lego Robotics was a hit today at TGU Granville! A big thank you to TGU Granville parent Christine Fredrickson, Full STEAM Ahead, AmeriCorp, and the Minot Junior Golf Association for making this exciting event possible. Hands-on science = discovery, creativity, and fun!

The animals of the Jungle have been working hard to bring the story "The Jungle Book" to life with the help of our friends from the Missoula Children's Theater! Performances are June 13th at 3:00pm and 5:30pm, $5 a ticket. We want to give a massive thank you to the North Dakota Council of the Arts and the Towner Community Club for helping us bring MCT to the TGU communities! **Please note, the post from prior in the week had the incorrect performance times, adjust accordingly**

Don't forget to sign up for the FREE two-hour LEGO Robotics clinic at TGU Granville for TGU District students ages 9 to 14. This is a hands-on experience where creativity meets technology! TGU SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION “UNOFFICIAL RESULTS” These results are unofficial until the results are canvassed at the June 23, 2024, School Board meeting. The Meeting will be held at the TGU Granville School at 7:00 pm. On June 10, 2025, the TGU School District # 60 held the annual election of the Board of Education. The purpose of this election was to elect a member of the board for a 3-year representing the former Towner School District seat, elect a member of the board for a 3-year representing the former Granville School District seat. TGU Drama and the 21st Century Summer Program are excited to announce the upcoming summer camp for Missoula Children's Theater's "The Jungle Book," running for the week of June 9th-13th, with two performances on June 13th at 3:00 pm and 5:30 pm! This program was sponsored by the North Dakota Council for the Arts and the Towner Community Club!

A big congratulations to Coach Billy Seright and the boys' Varsity basketball team for earning the NDHSAA Team Scholar Award! The team achieved an impressive overall grade point average of 3.2 or higher—proving that excellence happens on and off the court. Go, Titans!

TGU Towner 21st Century Update: Tuesday, June 3rd marks the first day of Towner’s 21st Century Summer Program! Doors open at 9:30 AM! Please drop your child off at the after school program door, on the east side of the school. Students who plan on attending summer program for the month of June will receive a detailed weekly schedule the first week of the program.
