TGU School District After School Update There will be NO After School Practice for Basketball or Drama today. The Boys Basketball 🏀 Game for tonight in Mohall has been CANCELED. The Jr. High Boys Basketball 🏀 Game in Bottineau tomorrow morning has bee CANCELED. There is No After Hours program at either school. The Titan Boys Basketball 🏀 game scheduled for tomorrow night against Harvey is still on schedule.

Good Morning - TGU Schools will NOT be running Busses today. We will have school starting at 10:35 am. Please do not arrive until 10:15. If you will not be sending your children to school, please call the school office starting at 9:45 am. Thank you for understanding, the road conditions and visibility is not good today. We want to ensure the safety of all of students and families.

What a fantastic Family Fun Night last evening! Thank you to all of our volunteers and everyone that joined us in the fun! We enjoyed many smiles and giggles while learning and having fun with the Magic City Discovery Center, learned about our Resilience for Youth program, and saw the talents of our student photographer in the photo sessions with sets from Rae Creates! Random Acts of Kindness TGU Towner is starting a Random Acts of Kindness program. When a staff member notices a student being kind they can put that student's name into the grade-appropriate jar(K-6 or 7-12). At the end of each week, a name will be drawn from each jar. The student that is drawn then gets to draw for a prize! There are lots of ways to be kind at school. Hold the door open for someone, donate food, clothing, or time, invite someone to sit with you at lunch, pick up trash in the hallway, compliment a friend, help someone pick up items they dropped, say “Hello”, invite someone to play games with you, say thank you, give high fives, and smile just to name a few. We have been very fortunate to have several businesses donate prizes for our rewards like Envision/Hot Stuff Pizza, Bearded Moose, IHRY Insurance -Kristi Suchor, North McHenry Soil Conservation District, Merchants Bank-Towner, Nodak Insurance Company-Steven Mueller, Pine Ridge Therapy Center -Alli Rognlien, BullDog Honey-Bobbi Jo Kuhnhenn, Acme Tools-Minot, Jennifer Zachmeier Photography, 360 Physical Therapy-Erica Hjelmstad, Turbo Septic Service-Kelani Welstad, Align Chiropractic- Erica Jorde as of right now. Do you have a child entering Kindergarten in the fall of 2022? We are pleased to announce that TGU is offering a preschool transitioning opportunity called “Pumped Up for Kindergarten”. We are inviting all 4- year-olds and parents to participate in a 1.5-hour sessions to help introduce concepts that are important to Kindergarten students. It is a fun, interactive program that will help prepare your child for kindergarten success. It’s a chance for your child to get to know their upcoming classroom teacher, building principal, and other school staff. Parents are able to ask questions and gather information to help with the success of your child’s educational career at TGU.

Free up your calendar to be at TGU TOWNER this THURSDAY night for our FAMILY FUN NIGHT from 6-8pm! There will be something for everyone...Magic City Discovery Center for the kids, Resilience for Youth Social Emotional Learning presentations for the parents, Family photo sessions with sets from Rae Creates for the whole family, and DOOR PRIZES! We can't wait to see you on 2/17 from 6-8pm at TGU Towner!
