Towner Music Parents are having their annual back to school meeting on Sunday, August 7th, at 7pm. It will be in the Home Ec Room at the school. We are hoping and looking for more involvement so everyone is welcome to attend!! Thank you!

If you are interested in playing basketball this year, the first day of basketball will be August 18, 2022 after school. TGU Towner Boys will practice in Towner and TGU Granville Boys will be practicing in Granville.

Attention all TGU Football players:
1. Please get your sports physical done ASAP.
2. Players entering Grades 7-12, we will have a brief players meeting, and 9-12 equipment checkout on August 1, at TGU Towner gym. Meeting will start at 5:00. If there are forms to fill out, I will hand them out that day.
3. Players entering Grades 7-8, you will get your equipment on your first day of practice, August 11.
4. Practice for 9-12 will begin on August 4th, at 7:00 AM until 10:30 AM.
5. As stated above, all players 7-12 will need a sports physical, and will need it turned in prior to being allowed to practice.
6. Items needed for practice: football cleats, 5 pad girdle, practice jersey, shorts, water bottle.
TGU Towner High School registration begins next week! Students and their parents are invited to come in to register for the 2022-2023 school year.
Grades 9-12 by appointment on August 4th and 5th.
Grades 7-8 walk-ins welcome on August 10th.

FREE SCHOOL MEALS EXPIRING JUNE 2022.
The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 has enabled public schools across the nation to provide all students free meals since the COVID-19 pandemic first disrupted K-12 education in March of 2020. The free school meal benefits will expire after the last school day of the 2021-2022 school year What does this mean for families? In the fall of 2022, meals will return to paid-for status. Families will need to pay full price for student meals or fill out an application to qualify for free or reduced-price meals.
