Speech and Hearing Screenings
WHO: ALL students in K-2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11; ALL students on a 504 plan or IEP
If you do not want your child's speech and/or hearing screened please let either office know; otherwise, you can expect their speech/hearing to be screened in the next few weeks. You will only get a letter or a call if your child DOES NOT pass their hearing screening.
**Speech screenings are only completed on grades K-1**
TGU Prom committee is looking for the following items for prom decorations! Our theme is this year is Enchanted Evening! We are looking for greenery, garland, fake trees (Christmas or like the picture below) and lights! We are accepting donations or borrowed items that could be labeled and returned! If you would like to donate any of these items please contact prom advisors, Ms. Kuntz, Mrs. Bachmeier, Mrs. McBeth or Mr. McClintock.

TGU Towner K-6 has started their Jump Rope 4 Heart campaign. Students are raising money for the American Heart Association.
February 14th students will be jumping rope in their physical education class to celebrate their accomplishments.

TGU School District offers a preschool transitioning opportunity called "Pumped Up for Kindergarten". All children ages 4-5, along with their parents, are welcome to participate to help ease the transition into kindergarten.

TGU Granville FFA went around the KMOT Living Ag Classroom at the Ag Expo in their official dress and earned $1285 in donations for their Washington D.C. trip this summer! Congratulations! They also presented on sugar beets for the Living Ag Classroom for the ND Farm Bureau. AWESOME JOB!

🏀Junior high boys' basketball games for today, January 26, 2023, in Rugby have been postponed for January 31. There is no junior high boys' basketball practice today either.🏀

The TGU Titan boys basketball program will be hosting basketball clinics for grades 3-6 on Saturday, January 28th in Granville, and Saturday February 4th in Towner. The clinic will run from 10:30am - 12:00pm each day with registration occurring at 10am each Saturday. Bring yourTitan trainee and have them learn basketball skills with the Titan boys and their coaching staff! The cost is $15 per child and will go to support the boys basketball program.
TGU Towner 4th Grade has been studying the human body in science. Most recently, we discussed sensory nerves and movement nerves, and how those connections are processed in our brains. Today, we tested our reaction times by catching a dropped ruler as quickly as we could.
The TGU-Towner Freshmen class will be selling meat raffle tickets! WIN fresh, local beef courtesy of The Big Sombrero! Bundle includes 12 packs of hamburger, 1 pack of ribeyes, 1 pack of NY strips, 1 pack of tenderloins, and 1 beef roast. Raffle tickets will be sold $20.00 per ticket, with the winnings being a beef bundle valuing at $240.00. Drawing will be held in February, and winner will be contacted at that time--need not be present to win. All proceeds will go to the TGU-Towner Freshmen class. A big thank-you to The Big Sombrero for their generous donation!
