TGU Elementary Boys' Basketball will begin Thursday August 18, 2022 after school at both TGU Granville and TGU Towner. Go Titans!

Hello TGU Staff! TGU School District Staff In-Service Day is on Monday August 15, 2022 beginning promptly at 8:30 am at the TGU Towner School. TGU Granville will leave Granville at 8 am. Please let the office know if you will need transportation. There will be a bus coming to Towner for the day. Staff is welcome to wear jeans. We ask that you wear Titan colors (red, blue, black) or some Titan Swag! A light breakfast will be provided. TGU will provide a lunch served at the Zion Lutheran Church and we will dismiss for afternoon sessions in each site! Your TGU Admin Team is looking forward to a great 2022-2023 school year! ❤️💙🖤

TGU School District Open House is on Monday August 15, 2022 from 5:30-7:00 p.m.. There will be a meal provided for all TGU families and students. We look forward to seeing you all there! Please contact the office for additional questions!

Towner Music Parents are having their annual back to school meeting on Sunday, August 7th, at 7pm. It will be in the Home Ec Room at the school. We are hoping and looking for more involvement so everyone is welcome to attend!! Thank you!

Attention All TGU Towner & Granville 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade Boys! If you are interested in playing basketball this year, the first day of basketball will be August 18, 2022 after school. TGU Towner Boys will practice in Towner and TGU Granville Boys will be practicing in Granville. You will need to have your Sports Physical completed. Attention all TGU Football players: 1. Please get your sports physical done ASAP. 2. Players entering Grades 7-12, we will have a brief players meeting, and 9-12 equipment checkout on August 1, at TGU Towner gym. Meeting will start at 5:00. If there are forms to fill out, I will hand them out that day. 3. Players entering Grades 7-8, you will get your equipment on your first day of practice, August 11. 4. Practice for 9-12 will begin on August 4th, at 7:00 AM until 10:30 AM. 5. As stated above, all players 7-12 will need a sports physical, and will need it turned in prior to being allowed to practice. 6. Items needed for practice: football cleats, 5 pad girdle, practice jersey, shorts, water bottle.

FREE SCHOOL MEALS EXPIRING JUNE 2022. The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 has enabled public schools across the nation to provide all students free meals since the COVID-19 pandemic first disrupted K-12 education in March of 2020. The free school meal benefits will expire after the last school day of the 2021-2022 school year What does this mean for families? In the fall of 2022, meals will return to paid-for status. Families will need to pay full price for student meals or fill out an application to qualify for free or reduced-price meals.
