TGU Towner High School would like to send out a big CONGRATULATIONS to Blake Rosencrans, Missy Kuhnhenn, and Ana Mohagen on being selected as students of the quarter for TGU Towner High School! Your efforts to show good character and academic growth make us full of Titan Pride! Go Titans!!

TGU Towner Backpack Buddies wants to thank the Daryl Kuhnhenn Memorial for the donation to our program. They shopped at our local J & J market, who have been big supporters of our program.
In 2011 Daryl Kuhnhenn of Rugby, originally from the Denbigh/Towner
area, died in a Motorcycle Accident. Each year since then they have
hosted a Memorial Ride in his honor and donated to organizations and
charities in the area and around the state totaling over $153,000(and
still have more to give in 2022).
One of their stops is Towner. When in Towner they have helped support our local students and sports teams hosting fundraisers during their run.
Their Facebook page is Daryl Kuhnhenn Memorial Ride

Last Friday, the State Cross Country Meet was held in Jamestown. Congratulations to Ethan Sveet and Kale Deatherage for competing with 334 runners. Ethan set a personal best finish with 20 minutes flat for the 3.1 mile race (5K) and he was the 4th finisher for the team of ten. Kale finished in 23:45 mins. Their paces were 6:33/mile and 7:38/mile! Both runners helped their boys' team place 13th out of 50 teams at State. Incredible! Three seniors were on the team, so there is definitely space for new runners next year! Great work, Cross Country runners!
