
Kyle Patterson, the Vision Zero Regional Coordinator will be visiting TGU 7-12th grade students on Feb. 23rd at both schools.
If you’re unfamiliar with Vision Zero, it is a statewide traffic safety strategy that has been put in place by the North Dakota Department of Transportation, North Dakota Highway Patrol, and the North Dakota Department of Health. The mission is to eliminate fatalities and serious injuries caused by motor vehicle crashes.

Speech and Hearing Screenings
WHO: ALL students in K-2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11; ALL students on a 504 plan or IEP
If you do not want your child's speech and/or hearing screened please let either office know; otherwise, you can expect their speech/hearing to be screened in the next few weeks. You will only get a letter or a call if your child DOES NOT pass their hearing screening.
**Speech screenings are only completed on grades K-1**


TGU Prom committee is looking for the following items for prom decorations! Our theme is this year is Enchanted Evening! We are looking for greenery, garland, fake trees (Christmas or like the picture below) and lights! We are accepting donations or borrowed items that could be labeled and returned! TGU Towner K-6 has started their Jump Rope 4 Heart campaign. Students are raising money for the American Heart Association.
February 14th students will be jumping rope in their physical education class to celebrate their accomplishments.

TGU School District offers a preschool transitioning opportunity called "Pumped Up for Kindergarten". All children ages 4-5, along with their parents, are welcome to participate to help ease the transition into kindergarten.
