Our educational approach "No Titan Left Behind (NTLB)" is still in full swing during Titan

Time. In just two months, students in grades 7-12 have completed an estimated 200 missing

assignments thanks to their own diligence and asking their teachers for help. Another thank you

to NTLB Coordinators Mrs. Wahl, Music Teacher, and Mrs. Aberle, School Counselor.

“7.4 (hours) will help you even more!” Free tutoring is readily available to all students in grades

7-12 and tutoring numbers are increasing. Tutoring hours are before school (M-F), during Titan

Time (M-F) and after school (M-Th).

Congratulations to our “Students of the 3rd Quarter:” 7th grader Curtis Norby, 10th grader

Jordan Vazquez, and 11th grader Ethan Sveet! Way to shoot for the stars!

Up and Atom! Students in grades 6-10 attended the Regional Science Olympiads at Dakota

College at Bottineau on April 4. Teams competed in various scientific disciplines through

hands-on challenges and tests. 7th grader Freya Sevland and 6th grader Allison Hice received

medals for "Towers" and 9th grader Skylar Thull and 10th grader Holly Latendresse received

medals for "Forensic Science.” Way to go, team!

Our Student Council hosted their annual Blood Drive on April 4 to provide a critical supply of

blood to hospitals and help save lives by supporting patients in need of transfusions. 16 units

were collected!

Paraprofessional Appreciation Day was April 3. We’re so thankful to Ms. Brianna, Ms.

Kennedy, and Ms. Kiara. They play a vital role in supporting student learning, and contributing

to the overall success of our students. Their dedication and commitment make them an essential

part of the team. Thank you!

The Central Regional Area Career and Technical Center Mobile Meat Lab arrives April 15. Our

Ag. students will get hands-on experience in butchering and processing meats within a 45-foot

trailer. Please stop by and check it out!

The Junior/Senior Banquet promises plenty of enjoyment. Seniors pass on items to Juniors,

humorously tease others, and everyone has a great time! Please join us on Thursday, April 18 at

6:00pm in our library.

The April 25 TGU District STEAM Night is an event that will focus on activities related to

science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics aimed to engage students, families, and

the community in hands-on learning experiences. This event will take place at TGU Towner.

Also at 6:30pm, the Granville FFA Banquet will be celebrating the year's activities and

achievements at the local, regional, or state level in our library..

Our annual K-12 Spring Music Program “Travel Across the USA” is just around the corner on

Monday, April 29 at 6:30 in our library , and we couldn't be more thrilled to showcase the

incredible talents of our students! Let's celebrate the joy of music together this Spring!

After applying for another North Dakota Equipment Sub Grant, TGU Granville was selected! We

purchased brand new six-compartment lunch serving trays for our cafeteria to not only maintain

correct serving sizes of each nutritional item, but also to increase student consumption.

Thank you to Mrs. Wahl and to our participating 7th and 8th grade students for singing at the

Granville Senior Citizen Center. They enthusiastically sang familiar songs and lit up the room

with their smiles and voices.
