Notice of Election
Per NDCC 15.1-09-09 notice is hereby given that on May 2, 2018 the annual election will be held for the purpose of:
1.  Electing a director At-Large from the designated geographical area of the TGU School District.
2. Electing a director from the designated geographical area of the former Upham School District.
3. Voting on the question: Shall TGU School District No. 60, County of McHenry, State of North Dakota, publish a record of the board proceedings in the official newspaper of the district for the next two years?

Polls will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on May 2, 2018 in each school of the TGU School District.

Voters are now required to show identification that includes the individual’s residential address and date of birth per North Dakota Century Code 16.1-05-07. If an applicant for an absent voter’s ballot does not possess an approved form of identification, the application must also be signed by another qualified voter.

Anyone desiring to vote by absent voter’s ballot may obtain an application from the TGU Towner or TGU Granville School office prior to May 2, 2018. Completed applications have to be returned to the district office in Towner in order to receive an Absentee Ballot. Absentee ballots cannot be issued on the day of the election.
